Pompano Beach, Florida
I had such a great vacation in Florida with my dad. I stayed at the Pompano Beach Marriot Resort, which was right on the beach! The hotel had a great gym and I got to work out every morning and we also took a walk on the beach every morning. I found so many beautiful shells and pieces of coral on the beach. We had amazing weather and there was only one day where it was raining and we went to the oldest house in Fort Lauderdale but it was pretty boring. I played on the 36 hole Pompano Golf Course at least 8 times and it was a very nice course and the Pines was designed in 2013 by Greg Norman and was a very nice course and the Palms were not as nice but still a good course. I also golfed at Crystal Springs Country Club which was very small but they were very friendly and the course was very easy so I scored a 35. The courses in Florida were so flat compared to New England golf courses and less challenging but they are less expensive, it was only $35.00 after 3 o’clock to play 9 holes which was so reasonable. I ate very healthy on vacation and we eat mostly at Nikes Kitchen, Whole Foods, and Marriot Pompano Hotel. Nikes Kitchen had a healthy and delicious menu and used mostly organic and non GMO ingredients. Our hotel was okay but I really enjoyed the guac and plantain chips and I ordered that mostly or the oatmeal for breakfast but the service was very slow and the food wasn't consistent. We brought fresh fruit, veggies, and snacks for our refrigerator at Whole Foods. I love Whole Foods salad bar too and we ate there for lunch several times. We ate at Peking Duck House for dinner and it was a nice authentic chinese restaurant. We also ate at a nice family owned Mexican restaurant called Casa Maya Grill and another family owned Italian restaurant called Sicilian Oven. I mostly spent my days there taking a walk at around 7 am, working out at the gym for an hour, we went to the beach, played golf, played ping pong with my dad, and then we had dinner and I went swimming in the pool afterwards. The ocean water was so salty and I loved swimming in it. The water was also very warm and refreshing. I had a great trip and I'm so thankful!

Trip to Kennebunkport
Trip to Kennebunkport
My mom and I went on a little trip to Kennebunkport last Saturday and we had a great time exploring and walking around. It was so much fun and we went to the pink tangerine which is a clothing store that sells Lilly Pulitzer and I was excited because most of it was on sale and the only other Lilly store thats close to where I live is 2 hours. My mom and I picked out a flamingo popover for half off and a pair of beach pants with sailboats on them for half off as well. We ate at Alison’s which was just average food and then we had dinner at Ports of Italy which I have been to in Boothbay Harbor but the restaurant in Kennebunkport was a lot better. I ordered the grilled salmon served on top of quinoa and vegetables and the tiramisu. The salmon was seasoned perfectly and had a nice crunch to it and the quinoa and vegetables were very fresh and the tiramisu was light and fluffy which I loved. We stayed at the grand hotel which was a beautiful boutique hotel and it was located downtown which was very convenient. I wore a really cute outfit to dinner which consisted of my mauve Express choker shirt that i scored on Postmark for only $15.00, Lululemon leggings, and my Steve Madden riding boots.

Vegan Raspberry Coconut Pressed Freeze Ice Cream
Vegan Raspberry Coconut Pressed Freeze Ice Cream
• frozen coconut
• 8 oz rozen rasberries
• 13 oz coconut milk
• 1 tablespoon stevia
• 1 teaspoon almond extract or vanilla
1 If your are not using frozen pre-cut coconut then break open your coconut outside on the tar or with a hammer and save the water inside. Then put the coconut in the oven at 250 degrees on a pan. Once you take it out you can break the shell off. You can leave the brown skin on because it tastes fine or if you want to you could grate it off but it would be time consuming. Then take the coconut and put it in a bag and place in freezer.
2 Place the frozen fruit in blender and blend them but don't go overboard because you do not want a smoothie. Once its roughly blended blend the milk, stevia, and extract in to the smoothie and blend until combined.
3 Top with fruit, cacao, peanut butter, nuts, coconut flakes, or whatever else you would like to add.

My favorite hair products
These are a few of my favorite products that i use for my hair. My hair is wavy, dry, and frizzy and it can be hard to find products that work especially shampoos and conditioners.
Coconut oil - I love using coconut oil before i wash my hair! I mix in a few drops of peppermint or lavender oil and massage it all into my hair. Make sure to use a small amount because it goes a long way. I use coconut oil in place of conditioner.
Asprey Purple Water Shampoo - This is my favorite shampoo I've ever used it makes your hair shiny and volumized. Whenever i use this shampoo compared to others I can go three days or so without my hair needing to be washed. It also smells very fresh and citrusy and the fragrance stays on your hair. The downside is that you can only order it online and its pretty expensive but I think its a great investment for your hair.
Living Proof Perfect Hair Day (PhD) Night Cap Overnight Perfector - I use this about once a week and it definitely helps with frizz and dryness without weighing your hair down. I absolutely love the smell of this mask as well. The hair mask also protects your hair from heat and detangles it.
Frizz Ease Straight Fixation Smoothing Cream - I love using this before straightening my hair because it moisturizes and tames frizz while working as a heat protectant. This is also very affordable and lasts a long time. Whenever i use this to straighten my hair it lasts up to 3 days.

Relaxing Spa Day At Home
I love having spa days at home when I'm in need of relaxing and if I have had a busy week. These are some of my tips and tricks on how to have a great spa day.
1 Apply a small amount coconut oil on your hair and mix in a few drops of essential oil, I used lavender and let it sit for 15 minutes before you wash it off
2 Wash your face and I used my Clarisonic Mia to wash my face with coconut oil and a couple drops of peppermint oil.
3 Apply a face mask, you don't have to use a store bought mask either you can make your own masks easily. I used Repechage 1 minute exfoliant and when I make my own mask I use bentonite clay and water.
4 Brush you teeth and you can use a whitening strip as well.
5 I use Biore pore stripes to clean my pores. If you want to make your own you can put a beaten egg white on your pores and use a thin piece of tissue over the egg white and wait till its dry and peel off.
6 Take a shower, shave, and shampoo and wash out the coconut oil in your hair, and I skipped conditioner because of the coconut oil. I also used an exfoliating body wash.
7 Use body cream all over my skin and I used LancĂ´me Tonique Confort on my face.
8 I also plucked my eyebrows and to reduce the pain I put hot water on beforehand to open my pores.
